ACT PARTY ECONOMICS: The ACT Party is facing skepticism from other parties over the numbers used in its economic policy. Labour Finance spokesman Michael Cullen says the policy is based on an unrealistic value for TVNZ. Bill English also wonders how realistic it is.
SUZANNE BRUCE: Doubt is being cast over whether NZ First candidate Suzanne Bruce is or is not a candidate in the upcoming election. Ms Bruce stepped down on Friday. The party's local electorate chairman says it appears that Ms Bruce is still a candidate. Party President Doug Woolerton says she has resigned whatever the legal position is.

EGYPTAIR CRASH: It could be several days before the cockpit voice recorder from EgyptAir flight 990 reveals its secrets. The recorder was found at the weekend and is being inspected in Washington.
PASSENGER WEIGHT SURVEY: A CAA survey on passenger weight may be unfair to small airlines some say. The average passenger weight is considered 77kg but the CAA thinks passengers are getting heavier.
AFGHANISTAN PROTESTS: Thousands of protestors have attacked the UN mission in Kabul following the imposition of sanctions against Afghanistan by the US. The UN is condemned as a US puppet.
