AMERICAS CUP: Young America syndicate says it is determined to get back on the water after its boat folded in half yesterday.

EGYPTAIR CRASH: The US Navy has recovered one of the two flight recorders from the EgyptAir flight 990 that crashed into the Atlantic last week. The box is a little damaged.

GUNS: The police are warning people not to buy guns for self-defence. Self-defence is not a valid reason to own a gun, police say.

TRAIN FATALITY: Police have reopened the train line near New Lynne after a man was killed by a train.
