1. ISRAEL - Israel's PM has pledged to move toward peace on
all fronts after reaching an agreement with Palestine.
2.
EAST TIMOR - Portugal has told the UN that the international
community the has responsibility to prevent violence in East
Timor. Eight of the ten NZ police in East Timor have now
returned home.
3. RIDER HURT - Blythe Tait is undergoing
surgery after being injured at a horse trial in Britain.
Another ride was killed at the event.
5. DISEASE - An
outbreak of a mosquito-borne viral disease has hit New
York.
