TURKISH QUAKE: Death Toll is now over 7000 as rescue workers continue to flood into the country. NZ Red Cross have raised $120,000 so far - the best quick response to a Red Cross appeal ever.

SERBIA: Opposition parties hold huge, 100,000 person, rally against Milosevic in Belgrade.

FIJI BOMBINGS: Fiji's PM says all efforts are being made not to allow a bomber to undermine peace.

TAURANGA MURDER: The officer in charge of the murder case of Tauranga woman says he believes the victim was deliberately targeted and that he is now working on motive. A second post-mortem last night found the cause of death to be several shots to the head.

ELITE UNIVERSITIES?: University Vice Chancellors committee is opposing an idea which would see 2-3 elite research universities saying it would make NZ a laughing stock.

INFERTILITY: The Infertility Society is calling for fairness in distribution of fertility services.
