INCIS: The NZ Herald leads today with a report that Police Commissioner Peter Doone last night laid blame for the $104
million Incis debacle squarely on its architect, computer giant IBM, which is walking away form the half-finished
system. The story is accompanied by a panel showing the history of INCIS with a policeman pictured at a computer
terminal. In another report on INCIS Herald IT Editor Chris Barton reports that the saying "no one ever got fired for
buying IBM" is losing its gloss.
