WINZ ROW: Late Breaking Story: This afternoon WINZ has been allowing reporters to see a video of Christine Rankin's
alleged performance as Michael Jackson. Yesterday Rankin said the allegations were untrue. Today the video. Steven
Parker Live: The video has not been released. But it shows various people rescuing a woman who was "falling overboard"
she was rescued by two men in orange suits. Media relations staff have confirmed that Christine Rankin was wearing a
silver outfit. And she did come on with a display of world leaders. I guess you would say a flamboyant opening to the
conference. This will further fuel the controversy.
JFK JUNIOR: The sea off Martha's vineyard has given up the bodies of JFK Junior his wife and her sister. Permission has
been given for a burial at sea - possibly tomorrow. Coastguard say they are pleased to bring closure to the two
families. President Clinton defended his decision to continue the search till they were found. Because of his
connections the Navy has agreed to a non-military burial for JFK Junior at sea.
ASSASSINATION FUNERAL: Funeral is underway for the Samoan Cabinet Minister assassinated last week. Proceedings are
expected to last till late tonight. For several days a casket has been lying in state. The Minister was shot dead at a
political rally last week. There is no indication yet of a motive for the killing.
JAILED TETRAPLEGIC: A tetraplegic man Danuiel Clark who was sent to jail for cannabis possession was left without toilet
facilities for four days. "I was treated worse than an animal - what have I done to deserve this" he says through
supporters. The man says cannabis helps him deal with pain. Waikeria Prison acknowledges that they were not equipped to
deal with the man. The man has been invited to make a complaint.
SCOTT WATSON TRIAL: Water taxi driver Donald Anderson grilled at the Scott Watson Trial. The man says he dropped someone
off at a small sloop early on New Year's day. The man recalls dropping someone to a boat to the left of the Furneaux
Jetty. The man who was dropped off is described as tanned and familiar with boats. When questioned by Watson's lawyer
the man appeared to be obstructive. He was reminded of previous statements
SPACE SHUTTLE: Space Shuttle Launch delayed again this time by the weather. Tuesday's attempt was scrubbed minutes
before launch. Today's was delayed by thunder and lightning.
