JFK JUNIOR: The New Zealand Herald leads today with the banner headline "Kennedy's plane found". The story reports that searchers last night found the plane piloted by John F Kennedy jun, missing and feared dead with his wife and sister -in-law on their way to a gathering of America's most celebrated political family. The story is accompanied by a photo spread headed "Jinxed to the max" showing JFL Junior in 1963 saluting the casket of his father and in 1999 with his wife of two months.

SAMOA ASSASSINATION: A report that Samoan police have seized video footage of a political celebration at which a popular cabinet minister was shot dead, but had not made an arrest last night.
