Botany Town Centre encourages a resurgence of Bingo in the local community
One little duck (2) and two fat ladies (88) bang on a drum (71) at the top of the shops (90). This sentence may sound like gibberish to most people, but thanks to Botany Town Centre and a local bingo revival, a trip to the shops will turn lucky (7) for some this month.
Each day between now and Sunday 19 February, live bingo games will take place in Botany Town Centre’s Market Square (outside New World) at 1.30pm. There is a $50 Botany Town Centre gift card up for grabs for each day’s winner
The traditional game of Bingo was first played by the Romans hundreds of years ago and in recent times has been a hit in primary schools and rest homes. Botany Town Centre marketing manager Desiree Clark says bringing the game to the centre means the whole community, young and old, can give it a go. “The games provide a fun and interactive timeout for shoppers, with the added benefit of having the chance to win a great prize each day.”
As well as hosting daily bingo games, Botany Town Centre is offering shoppers the chance to win back the value of their purchase in gift cards by keeping their receipt and matching the amount to a random number drawn three times each day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Shoppers who purchase an item and retain the receipt between Monday 6 February and Sunday 19 February are eligible to win.
Shoppers can also enter online at www.botanytowncentre.co.nz between now and the end of February to be eligible for the grand prize draw of a $10,000 shopping spree, as well as a second-chance draw comprising all unclaimed gift cards. The more receipts you have, the more chances there are to win.
Terms and conditions apply. Visit www.botanytowncentre.co.nz and http://www.facebook.com/BTCNZ for further details.
