LAMB TARIFFS: Agriculture Minister Jim Sutton says he hopes that New Zealand, Australia and the United States will reach agreement on the removal US lamb tariffs within a fortnight.
QANTAS NZ: Creditors of the failed Qantas NZ want the liquidators to sue the company’s directors.
MIDDLE EAST: An Israeli military incursion into a West Bank town is being denounced by the Palestinian Authority as a declaration of war.
FIJI EXPLOSIVE: A soldier in Fiji has been injured and a home damaged after an explosive device detonated at a home near Suva yesterday. In an associated raid nearby, seven similar devices have been seized.
