* Justice Minister Phil Goff has announced major changes to jury trials - Mr Goff announced this morning a move to majority verdicts - hung juries have doubled in number over the past decade and the change will mean equittal or conviction will be determined by a majority of jury members.
* Attorney General Margaret Wilson says there are lessons to be learned from the Christine Rankin case. The judgement holds lessons to be learned for both sides.
* Christine Rankin's lawyer says he and his client are considering appealing the court's decision to dismiss her case, or alternatively they could consider sexual harassment recourse.
* Knowledge Wave conference wraps up today - there was agreement of a need of access to information technology. The conference will issue recommendations for the Government to consider.
