OIL PRICES: The Road Transport Forum says it will take time for 10 cent falls in the price of diesel and petrol to flow
through to consumers via freight rates.

facing charges of sexual assault against school pupils.
AMERICAN SPY: A court in Moscow has found an American citizen Edmond Pope guilty of espionage and has jailed him for 20
years. Mr Pope’s family say he is dangerously ill.
NURSES: Nurses say they will be tempted by approaches from a hospital in Melbourne of up to $200 a week more to move to
Melbourne.
APPLE ROW: The National Pipfruit Growers organisation says it has lost confidence in ENZA following ENZA’s decision to
take an injunction action against other apple exporters. The Minister of Agriculture says the injunction will just
increase
TOURISM BOOM: A Tourism Conference being held in Auckland is being told there will be 2.5 million tourists coming to NZ
by 2006, up from 1.6 million now.
US ELECTIONS: Lawyers representing the Presidential candidates in the US Elections have been battling it out over 25,000
allegedly tampered with absentee ballots.
