TUA FIGHT: INJURY CONTROVERSY: Claims from David Tua that he was injured during his fight with Lennox Lewis are arousing
controversy. The Tua camp say that Tua was injured in the second round. But the punch cannot be found. It may have been
the third round says an expert. At a media conference after the fight Tua said he didn’t tell his coach about the sore
rib because of pride. Reporters booed one of the promoters at a news conference when he was talking about the injury.
However TV3 recorded the injury six weeks ago during a documentary.
TUA FIGHT: CLINT BROWN LIVE: Clint Brown says the injury was bad and that Kevin Barry now wishes he had postponed the
fight. The Tua camp are putting on a brave face. The bottom line is that it was a terrible fight by Tuaman – a good
old-fashioned boxing lesson. Tua now hopes to fight Evander Holyfield next year. Tua is going to lose 20 pounds in
coming months of training.
TUA FIGHT: TV3 RATINGS: More than 1.3 million Kiwis watched the fight and record betting on the TAB accompanied the

TUA FIGHT: TUA IN SAMOA: Fans prayed, cheered and wept in Samoa as they watched the fight. At the beginning of the fight
fans were very animated. At the end they looked very sad. On Sunday prayers were said for Tua at church. Tua is
described as an ambassador for the company by the Prime Minister. Samoa remains very proud of Tua.
CABINET RESHUFFLE: The PM has reshuffled cabinet to ease the workload on top ministers.
LISA BLAKIE MURDER: Christchurch Police believe a District Court Attendant and her daughter undermined a surveillance
operation in the hunt for the killer of Lisa Blakie. The woman is alleged to have overheard police talking about the
planned operation and passing on the information to the targets.
FOOT FOUND: A human foot has been caught in a trawler net and will be passed on to police..
AUSTRIAN SKI TRAIN FIRE: Up to 155 people died in an Austrian skiing train fire. Rescue workers have not begun to
recover bodies yet as there is too much smoke in the tunnel. Several people who were not on the train were very
relieved. Tonight there are so many dead this village has few words left to say.
