Herald Poll - One Per cent between Nats and Labour

The latest Herald Digi Poll shows the gap between National and Labour has dropped to just one per cent.

Labour is on 35.2 per cent, down five and will be concerned as two months ago was polling at 44 per cent.

National has not moved on 34 per cent. ACT has jumped nearly four per cent to 9.2 per cent and the Alliance has jumped three to 8.7 per cent.

NZ First is stable on 5.5 per cent and the Greens are also stable on 2.9 per cent.

In terms of seats in the House Labour and the Alliance would have 57 seats together, exactly the same as ACT, National and United.

NZ First is still looking to hold the balance of power although the Greens could still rescue Labour and the Alliance if Jeanette Fitzsimons wins her Coromandel seat..

Undecided voters is down from 15 to nine per cent.
