PM's Post-Cabinet Press Conference 3/12/18: We Won't Be Fuelled Again
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was joined by Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister Kris Faafoi to announce a Commerce Commission market study into the retail fuel market. This will be the first study directed by the government under new legislation.
The Prime Minister also took questions on a call from the Drug Foundation to double addiction treatment funding, the GCSB's decision on Spark's Huawei 5G network plan and possible repercussions from China (the PM emphasised the regulatory process was ongoing), NZ's response to China's actions against Uighurs, her upcoming meeting with the President of South Korea, the new Air New Zealand safety video, bullying allegations against the Retirement Commissioner, the Auckland Central Rail Link, and MPs' responses to recent polls.
