House falls off transporter, blocks Auckland highway

A house has fallen off a transporter north-west of Auckland.

The incident happened on State Highway 16 at Kumeu near Old North Road roundabout shortly before 6am.
No-one has been injured.
SH16 KUMEU - ROAD CLOSED - CRASH - 6:25AM

The road has been blocked in both directions and motorists were being asked to avoid the area if possible or delay travel.

Police said attempts were underway to try and remove it.
