Live: Ross is 'lying, leaking and lashing out' - Simon Bridges
National leader Simon Bridges says Jami-Lee Ross's allegations he broke electoral law are "baseless" and "entirely
false".
In an extraordinary move, Mr Ross said today he will resign from Parliament and lay a police complaint against Mr Bridges.
Mr Ross alleged Mr Bridges contravened electoral donation law and is a "corrupt politician".

But Mr Bridges said the accusations were baseless and entirely false and he invited Mr Ross to take them to police.
"We are talking about a guy who is lying, leaking, who is lashing out", he said.
He said National MPs had voted to expel Mr Ross from caucus and that he still had strong support from his caucus to
remain leader of National.
