On Monday afternoon the Government announced plans to
attempt to eradicate cattle disease Mycoplasma
bovis from New Zealand [MPI alert].
A technical briefing was followed by the official announcement, after which Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern took questions on other matters.
National Agriculture Spokesperson Nathan Guy also spoke to media.
