Labour - 43 percent (unchanged)
National - 39 percent (down 2 points)
New Zealand First - 9 percent (up 1 point)
Green Party - 5 percent (unchanged)
Maori Party - 2 percent (up 1 point)
The Opportunities Party – 2 percent (up 1 point)
Preferred Prime Minister
Jacinda Ardern up one point to 35 percent.
Bill English down two points to 31 percent
Winston Peters up one point to 5 percent.
The latest 1 News Colmar Brunton poll was conducted between September 2-6 and included 1007 eligible voters.
The maximum sampling error is approximately 3.1 percentage points at the 95 per cent confidence level.
