Martin Doyle Cartoon: Inquisition fails to nail Fry
The Garda [police] of the Republic of Ireland have cheated the world of what would have been the greatest blasphemy trial since the Inquisition when they dropped charges of blasphemy that had been levelled against Stephen Fry. As if channelling another world [or is it Irish humour at its best?], they say there was "no injured party". Amen to that.
