If you want to learn more about podcasting the first Asia-Pacific Podcast Conference takes place in Auckland this Friday and Saturday.

My friend Paul Spain from the New Zealand Tech Podcast is the conference organiser and other podcasters he works with will be taking part.

Podcasting is booming worldwide and taking off in New Zealand. More and better material is being produced while listener numbers continue to increase.

The conference will give you an opportunity to learn more about the art of being behind the microphone and the science of turning a recording into a podcast. Speakers include podcasting experts and media professionals.

Some great podcasts are made here in New Zealand. You may have heard me with Paul Spain on the New Zealand Tech Podcast. We enjoy recording the Tech Podcast and I think listeners can hear that.
