Published: Tue 22 Sep 2015 08:40 PM
The Tariff (Free Trade Agreement between New Zealand and the Republic of Korea) Amendment Bill completed its committee stage.
This Bill amends law to implement the trade agreement with Korea and was opposed by NZ First and the Greens and reported without amendment. The two parties did not like the inclusion of investor dispute resolution mechanisms and felt the deal was not good enough.
MPs began the committee stage of the Construction Contracts Amendment Bill.
