Maori Purposes Bill Introduced

A Maori Purposes Bill has been introduced.
When Parliament sat at 2pm a petition was presented asked for after hours medical care to be reinstated in Kerikeri and Whangaroa.
The New Zealand Fire Commission’s Statement of Expectation was presented and the Māori Purposes Bill was introduced.
This Bill is an omnibus Bill that amends the Maori Purposes Act 1991, which governs the Wi Pere Trust and the Maori Trust Boards (Transitional Provisions) Order 2012.
MPs then began Question Time.
