Dunne and Key Sign Agreement

United Future Leader Peter Dunne and Prime Minister John Key today signed an agreement outlining the nature of The National Party and United Future’s political relationship. The agreement also specified that Dunne will remain Minister of Internal Affairs, Associate Minister of Conservation and Associate Minister of Health.
Key reiterated that The National Party and United Future had worked together for 6 years, and that relationship would continue: “This agreement builds on the progress we’ve made over the past two terms” said Key.
Key stated that the agreement was much the same as The National Party and United Future’s previous agreements, although Dunne stated because of the September 20th election results, “the agreement is a little different from the previous two”.
The GCSB scandal was mentioned by members of the press, but Key and Dunne both said they felt that the issue was a historic one.
Dunne also spoke about his interests in pharmacy, medication access and improving water quality.
