Housing Bill Reported Back

A bill intended to increase the supply of housing was reported back from select committee when Parliament resumed at 2pm.
The Housing Accords and Special Housing Areas Bill was reported back by the Social Services Committee after a shortened consideration process.
The bill seeks to ease pressure on the supply of housing in particular in the Auckland area and the Government has indicated it will give the bill a high priority.
