Arrangements for the passage of Members Bills this evening were announced when Parliament resumed at 2pm
Deputy Leader of the House Anne Tolley said the business committee had agreed to rise for the dinner break after the third reading of the Holidays (Full Recognition of Waitangi Day and ANZAC Day) Amendment Bill and rise for the night after the third reading of the Marriage (Definition of Marriage) Amendment Bill.
The Auditor General's Draft Annual Plan was presented as was a report by the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment on the status of the long fin eel.
A report by the Intelligence and Security committee on the procedure to hire GCSB chief executive Ian Fletcher was presented.
