House Rises Debating Building Law

The House rose at 10pm interrupting debate on building law amendments.
The second reading debate was interrupted after just two speeches were made on the Building Amendment Bill (No 4).
Earlier the committee stage of the Child Support Amendment Bill was completed and the bill was reported with amendment.
Votes on most of the bill went 68 to 51 with National, NZ First, ACT and United Future in favour. Though at times Brendan Horan also voted in favour.
