Chauvel Says Goodbye

Charles Chauvel will give his valedictory speech in Parliament this afternoon.

Following Question Time and the General Debate, MPs will return to the interrupted second reading debate of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (Covered Bonds) Amendment Bill.

The majority of the sitting day will then be taken up with the almost completed committee stage of the Environment Canterbury (Temporary Commissioners and Improved Water Management) Amendment Bill and the committee stage of the Child Support Amendment Bill.

Chauvel will give his valedictory at 5.45pm.
