House Rises

Parliament rose at 10 pm interrupting the set piece 15 hour debate on the Prime Minister’s statement to the House.
The House will resume tomorrow with the first Question Time of the Year. This will be followed by the General Debate.
On Thursday, MPs are due to elect a Speaker to replace Lockwood Smith who is leaving Parliament to take up the High Commissioner role in London.
