When Parliament resumed at 2pm a number of reports and other papers were presented.
They included the following select committee reports:
Investigation into the Road User Charges (Transitional Matters) Regulations 2012 (SR 2012/145) by the Regulations Review Committee
Families Commission Amendment Bill by the Social Services Committee
South Taranaki District Council (Cold Creek Rural Water Supply) Billby the Local Government and Environment Committee
Petition 2008/146 of Sorrel Davies as reported by the Primary Production Committee
2011/12 financial review of non-departmental appropriations for Vote Education and Vote Science and Innovation by the Education and Science Committee
Briefing from the forest industry by the Primary Production Committee
Briefing from the Animal Health Board on biosecurity matters by the Primary Production Committee
Briefing on the impact of high technology trawlers by the Primary Production Committee
Bail Amendment Bill by the Law and Order Committee
2011/12 financial review of the New Zealand Walking Access Commission by the Local Government and Environment Committee
2011/12 financial review of the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment by the Local Government and Environment Committee
2011/12 financial review of the New Zealand Tourism Board by the Commerce Committee
2011/12 financial review of the Government Superannuation Fund Authority, the Meteorological Service of New Zealand Limited, Public Trust, and the Standards Council by the Commerce Committee
A petition was presented requesting that the House accept that quality affordable housing is a state responsibility and take immediate action to sort out the current housing crisis for low-income New Zealanders.
