Annual Reports Season

The annual reporting season continued when Parliament resumed today.
Annual reports tabled included: ACC, Education Review Office, Land Information NZ, Ministry of Education, Minister of Social Development, Serious Fraud Office and the State Service Commission.
The Attorney General’s Bill of Rights Act report on the Land Transport (Admissibility of Evidential Breath Tests) Amendment Bill was presented as was the Auditor General’s annual report.
The select committee report on the Climate Change Response (Emissions Trading and Other Matters) Amendment Bill by the Finance and Expenditure Committee was tabled.
Labour MP David Parker asked that the Speaker note he was ejected from the House yesterday for the first time in 10 years before he was able to make a point of order.
