EEZ, War And Taxes

The Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf (Environmental Effects) Bill is expected to pass into law when Parliament sits today.
The bill which sets up a regulatory regime for the EEZ is due to have its third reading following Question Time today. The bill completed its committee stage with the support of National, NZ First, ACT and United Future.
MPs will then hold the first reading debate of the National War Memorial Park (Pukeahu) Empowering Bill and the committee stage of the Taxation (Annual Rates, Returns Filing, and Remedial Matters) Bill.
