Members Might Get A New Ballot

Published: Wed 27 Jun 2012 12:47 PM
There is a chance today that a gap will open for another bill to be drawn from the members’ ballot box.
Following Question Time and the General Debate, MPs are scheduled to complete the third reading debate on the Fair Trading (Soliciting on Behalf of Charities) Amendment Bill.
The bill is generally supported and 10 speeches of 10 minutes remain.
Then there will be the first reading of the Register of Pecuniary Interests of Judges Bill, if this is completed then space would appear on the Order Paper for a new member’s bill to be drawn in a ballot tomorrow.
