Voyage of a Lifetime Reaches Maximum Capacity in Four Days
All Aboard 1.30pm June 10th, Q Theatre, Queen St, Auckland
Imagine New Zealand as a ship. What kind of vessel would she be; a jet boat, tug boat, luxury liner? Is she fit for purpose and prepared for the sea ahead?
You need only look at the current state of the national accounts, unemployment figures, the looming retirement boom, record numbers heading overseas and the narrowing of the economy to know that we are doing something wrong, and need to change tack fast.
350 New Zealanders from all around the country care enough about the current course of our vessel to give up their Sunday afternoon and attend our exciting event, where experienced and respected speakers Bernard Hickey, Rick Boven, Rod Oram, John Walley and Arena Williams will present their views on the direction of our economy, and suggest real alternatives to the current hard and fast course we are on.
They will be supported by Public Address’s Russell Brown as MC, comedian Michele A’Court and live music from Miriam Clancy.
We have spaces reserved for select media and invite you to come along and enjoy the afternoon. Please express your interest in attending to admin@fabians.co.nz or contact Stacey (09) 373 7250 for more information.
Voyage of a Lifetime is organised by the Fabians, in association with Public Address and Scoop www.thevoyage.co.nz @voyagenz
