Petitions, Reports And A Bill

A petition concerning the health effects of mobile phone towers was received when Parliament resumed at 2pm today.

Fiona Kidman and 314 others petitioned that the House of Representatives review the National Environmental Standard on Telecommunications 2008 to consider consultation with the community, resource consents and health effects relating to cell phone towers.

Amongst the reports tabled were the Ngāi Tahu Ancillary Claims Trust, Annual Financial Statements for the year ended 30 June 2011 (E.69) and the
Government Response to the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee Report on New Zealand's relationship with India.

The Draft Statement of Intent of the Auditor General 2012 to 2015 was presented
