Parliament Resumes

When Parliament resumed at 2pm a petition was presented calling for the closed live captioning of Parliament.
Among the documents presented were select committee reports on:
Petition 2008/149 of Darryl Monteith on behalf of the Gisborne Rail Action Group by the Transport and Industrial Relations Committee;
Petition 2008/150 of Vivienne Shepherd by the Transport and Industrial Relations Committee;
Petition 2008/151 of Loretia Pomare on behalf of Save Kapiti and the Alliance for Sustainable Kapiti by the Transport and Industrial Relations Committee; and
The 2010/11 financial review of the Accounting Standards Review Board, the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand Limited, the Government Superannuation Fund Authority, the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation, Kordia Group Limited, Meteorological Service of New Zealand Limited, New Zealand Post Limited, Public Trust, the Real Estate Agents Authority, the Securities Commission, the Standards Council, the Takeovers Panel, and the Testing Laboratory Registration Council by the Finance and Expenditure Committee.
MPs began Question Time.
