I wish 2012 would be a year of change
I wish 2012 would be a year of CHANGE
By Syed Atiq ul Hassan, Sydney
Politically, I would like to call 2012 – A Year of CHANGE. When I look into the politically development of the last 10 years around the year I feel that 2012 will now, hopefully, bring the CHANGE.
After a decade long war, violence and terrorism on the name of war against terrorism, I think 2012 will be a year of change in the thinking and understanding of a decade long issues related to the terrorism.
I feel after brining Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan into the bloodiest war the United States will understand and make a Positive Change in its policies and relationships with smaller nations.
I feel the people of Arab land will demonstrate a mature change in their thinking. Hopefully, they will bring real and stable democratic change in their states that can bring benefit to the common people of Arab Land.
I hope, this time, the people of Islamic World will not bring a change just for the sake of change but a change to bring a real Islamic System that can create democratic prosperity within the States. I wish the people of Islamic States will work together to make their states a real Islamic Welfare States - model States for the rest of world.
I wish 2012 will be a year of CHANGE for Pakistan - a true change to make country a Pakistan of the founder Mohammed Ali Jinnah – a true Islamic Welfare State. I wish the change will bring equal rights for every citizen of Pakistan indiscriminately. I wish in the changed Pakistan the ultimate supremacy just belongs to the Justice System of Pakistan, where law & order should be equally available for every citizen of Pakistan, where equality will just based of Islamic equality of people.
I hope, 2012 year will bring a vision for Pakistan in the nation. I wish 2012 will create a positive change in the attitude of the people of Pakistan. They must choose their leaders on the basis of their performances not statements. I hope 2012 year will be a year of a true democratic election year where every citizen of Pakistan will be given open and fair chance to vote by their own choice, where only those people will be allowed to present themselves for the contest those are clean and clear from every kind of corruption and money laundering.
I wish 2012 year will bring end of terrorism from Pakistan. I wish 2012 year will create nationalism in Pakistan and the entire nation will be united under a strong leader who can inspire and popular in the four provinces of Pakistan. I wish 2012 will unite the people of Pakistan on the name of Pakistan and defeat forever those political actors who have divided the nation on the name of province, language and religious differences.
I wish 2012 will bring an economic revolution in Pakistan. 2012 will be the year of the launch of industrialisation, land reform, tax reform and other reforms of positive change.
