Egypt: Cabinet Resigns Amid Fresh Protests And Clampdown

Al Jazeera reports that the Egyptian cabinet has resigned in the face of intensifying protests in Cairo's Tahrir Square.

The protests have seen the worst clashes between authorities and protestors since the toppling of dictator Hosni Mubarak. There are reports of at least 33 people killed and 1,500 wounded. UN Experts have expressed alarm at the clampdown.
