Roy Morgan Research - Latest Poll - Interview With RMR CEO Plus Youtube Video Interview with Roy Morgan Research CEO Michele D Levine on:
- The world first use of "The Reactor" in Monday night's TV3 Poll
- Latest poll results and possible impact of the CuppaGate #teapottapes controversy on the NZ election
Roy Morgan CEO Michele Levine will be arriving in New Zealand tomorrow in advance of the world first use of "The Reactor" mobile application to assess public responses in the TV3 Election 2011 leaders debate tomorrow night.
In the interview below with Scoop Co-Editor Alastair Thompson Ms Levine describes how the reactor works and how the public will be able to directly participate in the live TV debate using their Applie IOS or Android smartphones.
Scoop's interview with Ms Levine coincided with completion of the latest Roy Morgan Research NZ political poll, the results of which are likely to surprise. There appears to be little impact of the Tea Pot Tapes saga on the result as yet with NZ First and Labour both down - the poll was conducted over a ten day period up till yesterday.
National 53% No Change
Labour 24.5% down 1.5%
Greens 13% up 1%
New Zealand First 3% down 1.5%
ACT 1.5% up 0.5%
Maori Party 3% up 1%
Mana Party 1% No Change
In the interview below Ms Levine talks about this poll, its timing and the likely impact on it of the Tea Pot Tapes affair. She also reveals the results of polling on the issues that voters are most concerned about in this election.
