Labour Leader Phil Goff and Justice spokesperson Charles Chauvel held a press conference this morning focussing on the changes made to the Video Camera Surveillance (Temporary Measures) Bill, which was reported back from select committee last night. Chauvel had earlier released a press statement on the bill.
The bill is expected to pass this week with Labour's support.
Other topics included a complaint by the Labour Party about Prime Minister John Key hosting a slot on RadioLive, and the retirement of former Labour MP Jim Anderton.
