Greed is the blood of capitalism and Wall Street is its heart. To eradicate the domination of systemic greed, we can't remove greed from Wall Street; we must remove Wall Street from the world itself.

Protesters hit with pepper spray by NYPD officer 26 Sep 2011 Video is posted online that appears to show an NYPD officer using pepper spray on a group of peaceful protesting women during a protest by the Occupy Wall Street group. The Occupy Wall Street protesters have been marching on and occupying parts of Lower Manhattan's financial district since the 17th of this month. Generally the protests have been peaceful but a video posted on YouTube from Saturday's event appears to show a uniformed NYPD officer calmly approaching a small group of penned-in female protesters and dousing them with pepper spray before walking away.
Police arrest 90 in Wall Street protests 25 Sep 2011 Protests targeting the financial sector escalated on Saturday as more than 90 people were arrested as they marched through Manhattan. The so-called "Occupy Wall Street" movement has entered its second week and has drawn hundreds of activists to protest in front of the New York Stock Exchange and other commercial centres of the city. Protest organisers said at least 96 people were arrested, with at least five being sprayed with mace by police.
New York City police arrest scores at anti-Wall Street protest By Sandy English 26 Sep 2011 On Saturday afternoon, the New York Police Department (NYPD) arrested over 80 peaceful protesters at an anti-Wall Street protest near Union Square in lower Manhattan. This marks a major escalation of police violence against the protesters who have occupied Zuccotti Plaza across the street from Wall Street since September 17. The protesters have renamed it Liberty Plaza after Tahrir Square in Cairo.
