Later day troubadours Amanda F. Palmer and Jason Webley scheduled a ninja gig for 7pm today in Wellington's Civic Square as a prelude to their gig to close Webstock 2011.

Tomorrow night (Saturday 19th Feb) the duo is playing a gig at Bar Bodega, and on Sunday Jason is performing at San Francisco Bath House.

News of the ninja gig spread rapidly via Twitter and blog by 7pm a crowd of around 300 had gathered in the square. Amanda was a little late but eventually appeared at the top of the steps behind her waiting fans.
