KiwiFM: Investigative Journalism Conf. & Poli-Poll

Wallace & Selwyn On Investigative Journalism Conference & Latest Political Poll

  • KiwiFM Audio: Wallace Chapman and Scoop's Selwyn Manning discuss how people attending a Media, Investigative Journalism, Technology Conference in Auckland on the weekend identified significant blocks to responsible and probing investigative journalism. They also focused on solutions, including an innovative suggestion from Nicky Hager.

Also discussed, the latest Horizon Poll suggests New Zealand First leader Winston Peters may be attracting the eye of voters. The poll of 2000 people suggested New Zealand First would gain six percent of votes. If that occurred, Winston Peters be return to Parliament along with around six others from his party's list. The Prime Minister John Key said the poll is not credible, but the Horizon Poll was the most accurate in the Auckland supercity campaign for the mayoralty.
