Maori Party co-leader
Tariana Turia said Hone Harawira is difficult to control and
it does not look like he is going to change.
The decision
“to invite him to consider whether he would prefer to be
independent” was made by the party a few days ago but has
the support of herself and co-leader Pita Sharples, Turia
said.
Several hui will be held over the next two weeks to
find a solution but it looks increasing clear there is no
path back to the party fold for Harawira.
Listen below to
hear Sharples and Turia field questions on the
issue.
