Thousands of people gathered at Auckland's War Memorial Museum before dawn to commemorate those who have given their personal sacrifice, in times of war. War veterans, the elderly, women, children, and men, of all cultures stood in silence as the sombre notes of The Last Post was observed. And all said: "We will remember them."
