According to CNN John McCain will win Rhode Island primary, giving him enough delegates to finally secure the Republican presidential candidate. Senator McCain had been the leading Republican Party frontrunner for some time but evangelical Christian candidate Mike Huckabee had decided to stay in the race despite astronomical odds against his securing the nomination. In the end divine intervention was lacking for Huckabee.
