Breaking News: Pumpkin's Father Arrested in Atlanta
Scoop News: American authorities have confirmed that United States Marshals have captured Nai Xin Xue in Atlanta USA this morning (NZ Time).

An Interpol arrest warrant was issued for Nai Xin Xue in connection with the body-in-the-boot homicide case in Auckland, New Zealand. The body of Nai Xin Xue's wife Anan Liu (27) was found in the boot of a car in Mt Roskill after Nai Xin Xue abandoned their daughter 'Pumpkin' (3) at a Melbourne railway station.
'Pumpkin' whose real name is Qian Xun Xue was returned safely to her grandmother while a police manhunt for Nai Xin Xue stretched from New Zealand, to Australia, to the United States.
America's Most Wanted website reports: "Authorities say that the international manhunt for Nai Yin Xue has ended after Chinese-American locals in Chamblee, Georgia, an Atlanta suburb, recognized the accused killer.

"According to police, Xue was at an apartment complex when a number of residents noticed him and a fight broke out. Local authorities got wind of the incident and arrived on the scene only to find the suspected murderer hogtied and detained by a number of men."
For the past four to five months US authorities hunted Xue from LA to New York to Texas. The public was urged to keep a look out for Xue. America's Most Wanted then reported: "Cops say Xue landed at Los Angeles International Airport on September 15, 2007. Since then, a multi-agency task force including law enforcement officials from the FBI, ICE, LAPD, New Zealand, and US Marshals Service, has been working together to find the suspected murderer."
Authorities said Xue had contacts in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego from the martial arts world and may have been using those contacts to stay underground. Xue is a self-proclaimed master of the martial art Tai Chi Chuan.
