A delegation of around 20 turned up this afternoon at Parliament intending to deliver a letter to the Attorney General Michael Cullen from a large number of concerned New Zealanders. The letter is about the 12 terror accused and asks Dr Cullen to use his discretion not to grant leave for prosection of the 12 under the Terrorism Suppression Act. Dr Cullen was not prepared to see the delegation but a couple of MPs - Keith Locke (Green Party) and Hone Harawira (Maori Party) - came out to speak to the crowd. Eventually Parliamentary Security agreed to allow six of those present to meet a group convened by the Maori Party.
