2pm Sydney Time: Radio New Zealand is reporting that four people have been arrested and two policeman injured as Police pushed protestors into Hyde Park.

12.40pm Sydney Time:

12.13pm Sydney Time: Helicopters are flying above. Police are trying to funnel the protestors into Hyde Park. No signs of any disturbances yet.

12pm (Sydney Time) - Selwyn Manning reports that numbers on the march appear to be 10,000 + which is roughly what was expected. The crowd is inching up Elizabeth Street into Hyde Park where it is theoretically supposed to end. (Google Maps Link)

There is a sizeable police presence accompanying the march. Police behind the barricades are well armed with guns. In the front line the riot police with tear gas, flak jackets and long battons.

Marchers appear to be focused on peace, getting out of Iraq and expressing the view that President Bush and Prime Minister Howard are war criminals.
