Court victory against unjust bail conditions!
News just in is that our appeal against the draconian bail conditions imposed by police following last Sunday’s action
in Newcastle have been overturned. The magistrate in Newcastle local court threw out the 3 conditions that we appealed
(we didn’t appeal the fourth). LINK
Time ticking away for Howard and Bush
On Wednesday, Greenpeace and Make Poverty History carted two ice sculptures of John Howard and George W. Bush around
Sydney, sending a message to that there is little time left to take meaningful action on climate change and calling on
both leaders to ratify the Kyoto Protocol. LINK
