Parliament: MPs Vote 72 to 49 Against
Bill To Raise Drinking Age - MPs voted down the
Sale of Liquor (Youth Alcohol Harm Reduction) Amendment Bill
last night 72 votes to 49 on its Second Reading. The bill
will not proceed any further. The Government is however
going to conduct a review into under-age
drinking.
